Terry R. Modesitt, a Terre Haute South Vigo graduate, earned his B.S. in 1979 at Indiana State University and attended Indiana University Law School-Indianapolis until his graduation in 1982. He is a life-long resident of Terre Haute.
Terry completed a three-year law school curriculum in two and a half years, and further passed the Indiana State Bar after only completing two years of his law school curriculum.

Terry is president and owner of Modesitt Law Firm, P.C. His private practice has been general practice with emphasis on Personal Injury, Litigation, Bankruptcy, Divorce, Family Law and Medicaid Planning. He also currently serves in his elected role as Vigo County Prosecutor since 2007. In addition to his distinguished legal career, Terry has been very active in Youth for Christ, Crisis Pregnancy Center, Union Baptist Church, Glenn Civic Center, Triad, Senior Education Ministries, as well as other local charities and not-for-profit organizations. Terry has also volunteered his time and coaching skills to North Central High School, Terre Haute Youth Football League, Terre Haute Boys Club, Dixie Bee Baseball and Terre Haute Babe Ruth. Terry currently serves on the Advisory Board of Juvenile Justice Commission to the Governor, as well as the Board of Directors for Freebirds; and Senior Education Ministries, Inc.

Terry taught law classes at Indiana State University for three years. Terry's hobbies include basketball and softball; he is an avid IU basketball fan. He is married to Karen Kiser Modesitt of Terre Haute, and has two sons, Jared and Joel.
Tricia Rose Tanoos
Tricia Rose Tanoos graduated from Terre Haute North Vigo in 1996 and is married to James Tanoos, a 1995 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo. They have been blessed with three children: Michael, age 9, Lucia, age 5 and JJ born May 23, 2013
Tricia graduated from the Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis in 2006 and is the current Secretary of the Terre Haute Bar Association and a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, as well as the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys.
She acted as the Terre Haute City Court Deputy Prosecutor for 2007 - 2010, as the Vigo County Juvenile Court Deputy prosecutor from 2011 - 2012 and as a Vigo County Trial Deputy since August 2012. As an attorney with the firm, Tricia's primary practice areas include Medicaid and estate planning as well as guardianship and probate proceedings and litigation.
Jared Modesitt was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, and has lived here his entire life. He graduated from West Vigo High School in 2003, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from Franklin College, and graduated from Thomas Cooley Law School.
He currently serves as the Terre Haute City Court Prosecutor and is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association. He coaches varsity football at West Vigo High School and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Terre Haute Children's Choir. His primary areas of concentration at Modesitt Law Firm PC include Family Law, Contract Law, Estate Planning, Personal Injury and Bankruptcy.
Blake W. Reed
Blake W. Reed was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, and has lived there most his life. He graduated from Terre Haute North High School, and then from Indiana State University, Magna Cum Laude, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After undergraduate school, Blake went on to graduate, Magna Cum Laude, from Valparaiso University School of Law. He currently serves as the Vigo County Juvenile Court Deputy Prosecutor. He helps coach wrestling at Terre Haute North Vigo High School. He is married to Elizabeth Reed.
His primary areas of focus are family law, which includes divorces, custody disputes, visitation issues, and support modification actions, in addition to other areas of practice, such as municipal law, torts and personal injury, and contracts.
