Jared Modesitt is a lifelong resident of Terre Haute. He graduated from West Vigo High School in 2003. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from Franklin College where he also enjoyed playing college football. At Franklin College, he was also a member of Lambda Chi Alpha, a Student Mentor, Ambassador, and Tutor. In 2007 he was named Greek Man of the Year. He graduated from Thomas Cooley Law School in 2010. In 2015 he married his best friend Brittany Ciolli (Modesitt) and is blessed to have 2 wonderful daughters, Brielle Kiser Modesitt and Kinsley Louise Modesitt.
He currently serves as the Terre Haute City Court Prosecutor and assists as a Trial Deputy for Vigo County. He is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and admitted to practice in the Northern and Southern US District Courts of Indiana. He was awarded the Best Local Attorney by the Tribune Star in 2017. Mr. Modesitt has coached varsity football at West Vigo High School and has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Terre Haute Children’s Choir.
