When should I call a lawyer?

Should I take a settlement offer from an insurance adjuster?

Do not take the money. It is extremely important for accident victims to have a lawyer’s knowledge and guidance when deciding what to do after a settlement offer. Even if your injuries are not obvious now, there is a possibility they will appear later down the road. An experienced attorney can provide you with an assessment of your potential losses. If you sign away your rights now, you may discover that your injuries are more serious later on. It is important to remember insurance adjustors are not on your side, and they are looking pay you as little as possible.

Can I pursue a personal injury case if I am partly to blame for an accident?

Yes, in most cases and in almost every state, it is possible for injury victims to receive compensation even if they share blame for the crash.

I was in an accident and the other driver was at fault but has no money or insurance. Is there any use of making a claim

Yes. In most cases, your own insurance may pay you benefits even if the driver who hit you has no insurance.
